Irena Shnayder is a food and nutrition specialist with a rich understanding of how food and nutrition relate to the health and well being of people. Her childhood interest in nutrition and physiology led her to complete a Master of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics from New York University as well as a dietetic internship which included a concentration in sports nutrition.
With the understanding that food plays a significant role in nutrition, she went on to complete a Master of Gastronomy certification from the Ritz Escoffier Culinary School in Paris, France; where she was exposed to a variety of foods and cooking methods. This collective method of learning has allowed her to combine the factors necessary to live a healthy lifestyle. Irena has worked under the direction of top New York City chefs and is passionate about teaching, promoting and transforming traditional fare into delicious and healthy food offerings.
Irena has expanded her practice to include catering for private families throughout New York City, the Hamptons and Los Angeles. Using the highest quality local and season ingredients, Irena creates healthy balanced meals for her clients.
